AFC U-23 Asian Cup: China beat Vietnam to reach the final

The teams advancing to the decisive stage of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup have been confirmed. In the second semifinal, China’s U-23 side delivered a confident performance against Vietnam, winning 3–0 and officially booking a place in the final.

In the second half, China piled on the pressure with a series of attacks. Peng Xiao opened the scoring in the 47th minute. Soon after, in the 52nd minute, Xiang Yuveng struck again to double the lead. Deep into stoppage time, Yudong’s goal in the 90+8th minute sealed the final score.

As a result, Japan and China will face each other in the tournament final. Fans will also be treated to another intriguing clash in the third-place match: South Korea and Vietnam will battle for the bronze medals.
