Uzbekistan’s boxers reach IBA final
The Uzbekistan national team secured three spots in the finals of the IBA World Boxing Championship. Abdumalik Khalokov, Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev, and Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov claimed convincing victories in their semifinal bouts to advance to the final.

Khujanazar Nurtajiyev, however, concluded the tournament with a bronze medal. Competing in the 60kg category, Abdumalik Khalokov achieved a decisive victory over Armenia’s Artur Bazeyan.

Demonstrating tactical dominance throughout the bout, Khalokov won with a unanimous 5:0 decision. Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev, fighting in the 67kg category, defeated Moldovan boxer Alexandru Paraschiv.

Maintaining high intensity and full control of the fight, he advanced to the final with a 5:0 victory. Rio 2016 Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov, competing in the 51kg category, overcame Rudolf Garboyan from Armenia.

Dusmatov maintained complete dominance during the bout, securing a 5:0 victory and earning a place in the final. In the 57kg category, Khujanazar Nurtajiyev was defeated 0:5 by Tajikistan's Khusravkhon Rahimov.

Despite the loss, he finished the championship with a bronze medal.
