On December 27 at 01:58 (Tashkent time), a professional boxing night concluded in Riyadh. In the main event, undisputed super bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue stepped into the ring. This was reported by Kursiv.uz.reports.

After 12 rounds, the Japanese boxer earned a convincing points victory over Mexico’s Alan David Picasso and kept all of his championship belts. Inoue stayed composed, worked accurately at range, and controlled the pace of the bout.

Picasso tried to increase the pressure, but he couldn’t change the flow of the fight and lagged behind his opponent in activity. In the end, the judges unanimously awarded the win to Inoue: 119:109, 118:110, and 117:111.

Thus, Inoue successfully defended his title and once again confirmed his undisputed champion status in the division.
