The World Karate Championship held in Cairo, Egypt, has opened a new chapter in the history of Uzbek sports. At the global event under the WKF ranking, fellow Uzbek Gulshan Alimardonova's victorious performance was duly recognized by the country's leadership.

During the competition, held from November 27 to 30, Gulshan Alimardonova showcased exceptional skill. The final match left a lasting impression on the audience:

In honor of this historic achievement, the government awarded the World Champion the President’s gift — a BYD Song Plus DM-i UzPride car, which was presented in a grand ceremony.
