Arsenal forward assesses return to the pitch after victory

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus shared his emotions after returning to the pitch following a long break. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

“I’m very happy and at the same time inspired — there are still many games ahead. I feel great, but after 11 months away from football I need match practice. Still, I’m very pleased to be back,” the player said.

Recall that the Brazilian spent a long time recovering from injury. On December 27, Arsenal beat Brighton 2–1 at home, with Jesus coming on as a substitute in the second half. He had previously also featured against Wolverhampton.

Arsenal currently have 42 points and sit top of the Premier League table.
