According to Globo, Boca Juniors are interested in signing the Italian footballer. The Buenos Aires club is strengthening its midfield to perform more successfully in the Copa Libertadores. Boca’s management is in constant contact with the player’s representatives, clarifying Verratti’s terms and demands.

Verratti joined Al-Duhail from Al-Arabi as a free agent in the summer of 2025. This season he has played 14 matches and scored 4 goals. Transfermarkt values him at €7 million.
