PSG head coach Luis Enrique commented on two members of the squad — Senegalese winger Ibraima Mbaye and Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Both players recently took part in the Africa Cup of Nations. Hakimi returned after a long injury layoff and finished the tournament as runner-up, while Mbaye became continental champion with Senegal.
Enrique noted that Hakimi has returned to the team and is feeling good for now. The coach said he will speak with him before training to check his condition, after which a decision will be made on whether he will be in the squad.
Enrique also did not hide his view on Mbaye: the coach pointed out that the young player has gained match practice both with the national team and at PSG, and that this experience will help him mature further. Enrique stressed that Mbaye already fits a high level.
27-year-old Hakimi played 5 matches at the Africa Cup of Nations and provided 1 assist. 17-year-old Mbaye scored once in 6 appearances.
