French club "Marseille" has announced the transfer price for forward Mason Greenwood. Turin's "Juventus" has intensified efforts to sign the 24-year-old player. Goal.com reports on this.
The Italian giant has selected Greenwood as a primary target to refresh its attacking line. The French club is demanding at least 43 million euros for the player.
This price is based on the forward's 25 goals and 10 assists in 42 matches during the current season.
"Marseille's" decision to sell Greenwood remains tied to the team's financial situation. If the club fails to qualify for the Champions League, it will be forced to sell its star player to cover the budget deficit.
"Juventus" plans to include other players in the deal to reduce transfer costs. Specifically, the option of Edon Jegrova is being considered.
Relations between the two clubs have significantly improved following the transfer of Timothy Weah last year.
Manchester United is also closely monitoring this process. When the English club sold Greenwood for 30 million pounds in July 2024, it included a clause in the contract to receive a share of the next transfer.
If the transfer takes place, a large amount of funds will flow into the Manchester club's coffers.
