The next major update for the Huawei ecosystem is approaching: OpenHarmony 7.0 Beta 1 has appeared online. This information was discovered on the GitCode platform (a Chinese equivalent of GitHub) intended for developers and open-source projects. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

Previously, Huawei had begun recruiting developers to test the updated platform. This once again confirms that active preparations for the HarmonyOS 7.0 release are underway. The company is expected to showcase the initial capabilities of the system at the HDC 2026 conference, taking place from June 12-14.

HDC (Huawei Developer Conference) is an annual event where the company presents its achievements in artificial intelligence, ecosystem development strategies, and the latest versions of its software. Insiders report that the new operating system will feature an improved user interface and smarter functions.
