The Tashkent Municipality has announced that funds generated from commercial video recording in markets will be directed toward improving the infrastructure of shopping complexes and landscaping the areas. This measure does not apply to ordinary visitors.
Visitors are allowed to film their purchases or take pictures with their family free of charge. Only major bloggers or commercial studios using the market premises for profit will be required to pay a fee.
"This measure is aimed at serving the interests of the people. The goal is to protect the interests of customers, vendors, and the infrastructure of the markets," reads the municipality's statement.
The Tashkent Municipality also emphasized that when filming crews with equipment operate within market areas, it imposes a burden on passageways and the administration's activities. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
