UzHydromet has announced the weather forecast expected across Uzbekistan on January 6. According to the forecast, weather conditions will be variable in most regions of the country, with no precipitation expected. In some areas, especially at night and in the morning, fog may occur.
In Tashkent, the weather will be stable. No precipitation is forecast, however fog is possible during nighttime and morning hours. The wind will be easterly at 3–8 m/s. Air temperature will range from 0–2°C below zero at night to 7–9°C above zero during the day.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, no precipitation is expected either. Fog may occur in some areas. The easterly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 3–8°C below zero, while daytime temperatures will range from 2–7°C above zero.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will be variable. No precipitation is expected, with possible fog in some areas. Night temperatures will range from 0–5°C below zero, and daytime temperatures from 5–10°C above zero.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the weather will be mostly clear. No precipitation is expected, though fog may occur in some places. Night temperatures will range from 3°C below zero to 2°C above zero, and daytime temperatures from 5–10°C above zero.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the days will be relatively warm. Fog may occur in some areas. The easterly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s. Night temperatures will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero, and daytime temperatures from 6–11°C above zero.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, no precipitation is expected. Fog may occur. The easterly wind will blow at 5–10 m/s. Night temperatures will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero, and daytime temperatures from 2–7°C above zero.
In the mountainous regions of the republic, the weather will be variable with no precipitation expected. Fog may occur in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will range from 5–10°C below zero, and daytime temperatures from 3°C below zero to 2°C above zero.
Overall, no sharp weather changes are expected on January 6, and the day will pass in a winter-like, relatively stable, cool-to-mild manner.
