Traffic Restrictions Possible in Tashkent

Transport restrictions may be imposed in Tashkent
On November 25, 2025, it was reported that a special commission might be granted the authority to restrict vehicle movement in Tashkent. According to the press service of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, plans are underway to introduce a system limiting movement based on odd and even days.

Additionally, temporary restrictions on the movement of trucks are expected. The press service emphasized that the new rules will not apply to electric vehicles.

The special commission will also designate the streets and areas where the restrictions will be enforced.
