After the match, the Brazilian spoke about Araujo, who returned after a long break: the Uruguayan defender had been sidelined due to psychological issues and came on as a substitute late in the game.
“Ronald is very important for the team. We always support him. He went through a tough period, which is natural given the demands placed on a Barcelona player. We wanted him to lift the trophy — it’s a symbol of our love and support for him,” Raphinha said at a press conference.
It is noted that Ronald Araujo had not played since late November.
