4 scenarios for ending the war in Ukraine were announced

The Ukraine conflict has four possible scenarios, including Ukraine's defeat. This was reported by a British newspaper, according to RIA Novosti.

“Ukraine has not broken yet, but it is certainly on its knees,” the article states.

According to the publication, the first scenario involves Ukraine’s defeat, which could happen if U.S. President Donald Trump ceases support for Kyiv. However, the author believes Trump may avoid such an outcome to prevent being compared to his predecessor Joe Biden, who was criticized for the "hasty" withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

The second scenario also involves the cessation of U.S. support but leads to a “bad peace agreement” that could result in the country’s division instead of military defeat.

The third scenario suggests a temporary ceasefire agreement as an intermediate step before achieving a full peace settlement.

The fourth scenario envisions peace talks where Ukraine participates “from a position of strength,” but this would require acknowledging Russia’s significant gains, which would be impossible without U.S. assistance.
