Wi-fi points have been installed in all carriages of the high-speed Afrosiyob trains, Kursiv reported. According to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the network has been launched across the entire fleet. New conveniences have been introduced for passengers.
After connecting, passengers get unlimited access to the internal media portal. It contains films, music, and articles about notable places in the republic. The portal is adapted for quick use during travel.
Each passenger is given 30 minutes of free internet traffic. For longer periods, connection is paid separately: 48 hours of internet costs 15,000 soms. The monthly tariff is set at 50,000 soms.
The network works on all Afrosiyob routes. To connect, it is enough to enter a phone number and write the code received via SMS. Activation takes a few minutes.
