
Debris resembling parts of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been found in the Zhanibek district of West Kazakhstan Region, Tengrinews.kz reported.
The regional police department confirmed the discovery.
"The West Kazakhstan police department, together with authorized services, is conducting an investigation after the discovery of what appears to be UAV fragments in the Zhanibek district. The object was found in a remote area, far from populated settlements. All circumstances are being clarified," the statement said.
This marks the fourth drone-related incident in the region. On March 18, a three-meter UAV crashed in the Taskala district, and another unidentified aerial object fell in the village of Uyaly, Bokeyorda district, on February 18. The most recent case was officially confirmed by police on March 24.
