A heartbreaking tragedy occurred in Italy, on the island of Sardinia. A four-year-old Romanian boy died after being trapped inside a car in extreme heat. According to “Rupor,” the incident took place on August 6 in the popular resort village of Olmedo, located in the northwest of the island.

Reports indicate that the boy had come to Olmedo with his parents for a vacation. While they were relaxing, the child left the house and disappeared for a short time. His mother found him unconscious inside a car where the air temperature had risen above 50 degrees Celsius.

The boy was first taken to Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Sassari, and later transferred to the Gemelli Clinic in Rome. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, he passed away on August 11.
