UzAuto Motors has officially unveiled two new Chevrolet Damas variants: the cargo-focused Damas Max and the passenger-oriented Damas Move. The company says the new versions are larger in size, offer higher payload capacity, and come with richer standard equipment.
A business-ready “workhorse”: Damas Max
Damas Max is primarily aimed at small businesses, courier services, and delivery operations. It can carry up to 650 kg, with a cargo volume of over 3 cubic meters. In other words, it’s the right choice for those who want “more load, lower costs.”
For family and transport alike: Damas Move
Damas Move is a 7-seat passenger version. It’s designed for family trips, daily commuting, and even commercial passenger transport. According to the company, there is an approximately 500-liter luggage compartment behind the third row—so there’s room for both people and cargo.
Engine and hardware: “simple, but reliable”
Buyers are offered two naturally aspirated gasoline engine options, paired with a manual transmission. The suspension and braking system rely on a straightforward design—meaning easier servicing and higher reliability in day-to-day use.
Equipment: safety is there, comfort added
Standard equipment includes driver and front passenger airbags, ABS and EBD, central locking, and an anti-theft system. The air-conditioning difference is clear: the Move gets dual-zone A/C, while the Max comes with single-zone A/C.
The old Damas isn’t going away
One more important point: the company said production of the previous-generation Chevrolet Damas will continue. The sales launch dates for the new modifications will be announced later.
In short, the choice is simple: Max for cargo, Move for people and family travel. The rest comes down to price and the launch date.
