Starting February 1, 2026, a new convenience will be introduced in Tashkent for citizens living in areas close to paid roadside parking. Now car owners living in such areas will have the opportunity to use parking free of charge at night with a resident parking permit.
According to the new procedure, a resident permit is a special electronic record generated in the "e-government" system, which grants the right to park a vehicle in designated paid parking lots. Residents include car users who live in areas where paid parking is located or in neighborhoods adjacent to them, have ownership rights to housing, or have a share in the property.
Based on the permit, parking a car from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM will be absolutely free. And during the daytime, parking is provided for on the basis of current tariffs, but on preferential terms.
Also, a resident permit is issued for a period of 1 year, and its annual fee is set at 1 BRV, that is, 412 thousand soums according to current calculations. It will be possible to issue no more than 2 permits for each address. Applications are planned to be submitted through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services.
