
German actor Udo Kier passed away on the morning of November 23 at the age of 81, according to Variety.
Throughout his career, Kier appeared in over 200 films, collaborating with numerous directors ranging from Andy Warhol to Lars von Trier. He starred in the horror genre classics "Flesh for Frankenstein" (1973) and "Blood for Dracula" (1974).
In the 1990s, he acted alongside Keanu Reeves in Gus Van Sant's drama "My Own Private Idaho." Kier was also renowned for his collaboration with Danish director Lars von Trier, featuring in films such as "Dancer in the Dark" and "Melancholia."
In addition to auteur cinema, Kier made appearances in major Hollywood hits, including "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Armageddon."
