The upcoming film "Armor of God: Ultimatum" may feature scenes shot in Uzbekistan. This was announced by Kazakhstan's Salem Entertainment media company.
"Our Salem Entertainment team had a productive meeting with the 'Uzbekfilm' cinema company and the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency," the company stated in a press release. Representatives from the company expressed their hopes to shoot a part of the film on Uzbekistan's territory.
It was revealed that the main parts of the project are planned to be filmed in Kazakhstan in October 2026. According to Salem Entertainment, this project will be one of the largest in Kazakhstan's cinematographic history.
"Armor of God" is a series of adventure films featuring Jackie Chan, where he appears as an artifact hunter nicknamed "Asian Hawk." These films are known for their humor, acrobatic stunts, and themes of searching for ancient relics worldwide.
The first part was released in 1986, followed by several sequels.
