Actor Tom Cruise visited the set of “Star Wars: Starfighter,” directed by Shawn Levy, and even took part in the technical process. According to IGN, he personally operated the camera while filming a lightsaber duel scene. This was reported by Kursiv.uz. reports .
Director Shawn Levy commented on the situation with irony: “Last week Steven Spielberg was here. Now Tom Cruise is moving the camera around and ruining his very nice shoes.”
Cruise’s visit also revealed some plot details: the project was initially presented as a story about pilots unrelated to the Jedi, but it has now become known that the film includes a lightsaber fight scene.
The film stars Ryan Gosling, Matt Smith, and Mia Goth. “Star Wars: Starfighter” is set to premiere on May 28, 2027.
