US President Donald Trump made a sharp statement about the Strait of Hormuz during a conversation with journalists aboard the plane.
He emphasized that the US has the opportunity to close this strategically important Strait of Hormuz in a very short time - just two minutes.
"We can close it in two minutes. We'll close it so fast you'll get dizzy," Trump said.
It is reported that he expressed this opinion against the backdrop of reports that the Iranian side plans to introduce a fee for ships passing through the strait.
The US leader also noted that the possibility of reaching an agreement with Iran remains. According to him, such an agreement could be implemented in the near future.
