The Central Bank of Uzbekistan left its key rate unchanged — at 14% per annum. This decision was made taking into account inflationary risks and active overall demand.
In the third quarter of 2025, economic activity maintained stable growth rates. Tight monetary policy, the weakening of inflationary factors from last year, and the strengthening of the national currency had a stabilizing effect on prices, resulting in a decrease in annual inflation in September.
At the same time, the Central Bank noted that risks of price increases related to external supply factors and high inflation in the services sector remain. Therefore, the Central Bank considers it advisable to keep the interest rate at its current level. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
