Uzbekistan Increases Mobile Phone Imports by 7.4%


From January to September 2025, Uzbekistan imported 3.2 million mobile phones, reflecting a 7.4% increase compared to the previous year. This information was released by the State Statistics Committee.

The total value of these phones amounted to $370.8 million. China was the primary supplier, with over 2.5 million devices imported from the country.

Additionally, 619,200 phones were imported from Vietnam, and 65,300 units came from the United Arab Emirates. The top five suppliers also included India (31,800 units) and South Korea (4,800 units).

As of early November of this year, Uzbekistan purchased telecommunications equipment worth a total of $744.1 million from abroad. This figure represents a 3% decrease compared to last year.
