A new system for systematic monitoring of subsidies received by entrepreneurs is being introduced in Uzbekistan. From now on, the efficiency of state support will be strictly controlled, and funds improperly received or used will be refunded.
The government has approved a special document detailing how monitoring and evaluation will be conducted. Before providing assistance, responsible authorities must define clear objectives that the entrepreneur is expected to achieve.
All subsidies will be registered and tracked through the platform subsidy.mf.uz. When assessing efficiency, financial and tax reports of the entrepreneur, data from sectoral authorities, as well as information on outcomes provided by the entrepreneur, will all be taken into account.
The inspections will be conducted based on economic, financial, and social criteria. If the set objectives are not achieved, funds are misused, or inaccurate information is provided, the subsidies must be refunded.
