Kazakhstan temporarily bans the import of chicken eggs

Kazakhstan temporarily banned the import of chicken eggs from abroad from December 11. According to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture, published on December 5, the import of fresh chicken eggs into the country from third countries and the countries of the Eurasian Union (EAEU) by all modes of transport is prohibited. Passage of chicken eggs is allowed only as transit.

It is emphasized that the main goal of this decision is to support local producers. We also remind you that from April 9, 2025, Kazakhstan suspended the import of chicken eggs for a period of six months.
