New Natural Gas Well in Karakalpakstan Operating Under High Pressure

A high-pressure natural gas flow has been obtained from Exploration Well No. 2 in the Muynak District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. It has been reported that 2.4 million cubic meters of gas are being extracted daily from this well.

This well was drilled by local specialists using modern foreign drilling equipment. The design depth of the well is 5,000 meters, indicating its importance and potential.

The drilling operations were carried out by specialists of the "Uzbekneftgaz" JSC under the supervision of the "Uzneftgaz Drilling Operations" LLC. Currently, drilling continues in other deep wells in the area. Specialists expect a high-pressure natural gas flow from these wells by the end of the year.

This process significantly contributes to ensuring Uzbekistan's energy security and strengthening the local economy.
