According to UN analysts, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan continued to benefit from rising gold prices, major infrastructure-focused investments, and the expansion of the tourism sector. Recall that in the first 11 months of last year, Uzbekistan exported nearly $10 billion worth of gold. In December, the precious metal’s price exceeded $4.4 thousand per ounce for the first time.
