Patrol officer in Ohangaron suspected of harassing 14-year-old girl

A video appeal has spread on social media about alleged illegal actions by a patrol police officer toward a minor girl.

According to the victim, the incident occurred on the evening of April 27, while she was sitting in the courtyard with her friend.

"A Spark car pulled up and the driver asked me to get in. I refused, but he was rude and insistent. I thought that since he was a police officer, he wouldn't do anything bad. He took us to some mountainous area, turned off the car, and started harassing us. Then my brother saw my location and came," the 14-year-old girl said.

According to the girl's brother, the man later called them with threats, demanding to know their whereabouts.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs Internal Security Service, in cooperation with prosecutors, immediately began an investigation. All involved individuals and circumstances are currently being established.

"The officer mentioned in the reports has been suspended from his duties. If the stated facts are confirmed, his actions will be given a strict legal assessment, up to and including criminal prosecution," the ministry stated.

The MIA emphasized that any illegal actions by law enforcement officers, especially pressure and coercion against minors, are absolutely unacceptable and will result in strict measures. Additional information on the investigation results will be provided.
