OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman to lead product strategy

According to Wired, OpenAI co-founder and president Greg Brockman has taken over the company's product strategy. This change occurs while Fidji Simo, the company's AGI product lead, is on medical leave. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reporting .
In a memo to employees, Greg Brockman announced plans to integrate ChatGPT and the company's programming product, Codex, into a single system. According to him, the company is consolidating its efforts to focus maximally on future agentic AI technologies and to gain leadership in both consumer and enterprise segments.
These changes are being implemented as part of the "red code" regime announced by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman late last year. The company is temporarily pausing secondary initiatives, such as the Sora video generator and scientific projects, to focus its attention on improving the ChatGPT experience.
OpenAI has set a goal to create an AI-based "super app." Company representatives noted that Fidji Simo, currently on medical leave, had been working on these strategic changes together with Greg Brockman.
