Why is Nate Diaz's return to the octagon delayed?

Famous American fighter Nate Diaz, who gained great fame in the world of mixed martial arts, explained more clearly why he still can't return to the octagon.

"Currently, all my potential opponents are busy. Therefore, it's impossible to organize a fight with anyone. I want to enter the octagon at least three times a year, but now all fighters have set plans. The sooner I return, the better, but that's how things are," MMA Junkie quoted Diaz as saying.

It should be recalled that the 40-year-old American athlete had previously expressed his readiness to hold a trilogy to conclude a series of fights with Irishman Conor McGregor, the UFC champion in two weight categories.

Diaz's words aroused great interest among battle enthusiasts. It remains unclear when his return will occur and against which opponent he will enter the octagon.
