Barcelona's young talent, 18-year-old Lamin Yamal, commented on the words spoken by the team's head coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, after the third round of La Liga.
As is known, the Blaugrana played away against Rayo Vallecano and agreed to a 1-1 draw. Following the match, Flick claimed that the players' selfishness in some instances hindered the victory.
However, Lamin Yamal did not agree with this opinion:
- I don't think the calculation has anything to do with selfishness. In reality, our game didn't go as planned. We couldn't start the debate at the required level, we couldn't fully concentrate.
Of course, as Flick said, we made a lot of mistakes, and of course, we must play better. But at the same time, no one is paying attention to how we scored 7 points out of 9 opportunities in three games against very difficult opponents.
We haven't played at home yet, we're playing all our matches away. Nevertheless, we have achieved sufficient results," Yamal emphasized.
This statement showed that the young footballer can confidently express his opinion and is not indifferent to the internal atmosphere of the team. The situation at Barcelona is generating even greater interest among fans.
