A decision for 432 million soums has been issued for Pakhtakor's students

On August 12th of this year, the Committee for the Status and Transfer of Football Players under the Uzbekistan Football Association held its regular meeting. At this meeting, the issue of a number of players who were trained at the Pakhtakor academy was considered. This was officially announced by the UzPFL press service.

According to the report, the hearing reviewed claims for training compensation against former Pakhtakor players Otabek Boymurodov (Bukhara), Shahzodbek Rahmatullayev (Qizilqum), Abubakir Ashurov (Andijon), Diyorbek To'laboyev (Neftchi), and Muhriddin Fazliddinov (Xorazm).

According to the committee's decision, clubs that have signed professional contracts with these players for the first time (indicated in parentheses) will pay Pakhtakor a total of 432 million soums.

The Football League highly appreciated Pakhtakor's initiatives to earn compensation through players from its academy in the prescribed manner. At the same time, appeals were made to other clubs: each team needs to properly and timely process the documents of players growing up in its academy. Because if the pupil later signs an initial professional contract with another club, the coaching club will have the right to demand compensation.

This decision once again demonstrated the importance of academy activities and the importance of properly organized work not only for "Pakhtakor" but for the entire national football system.
