Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented on the team's defeat against Brighton in the third round of the English Premier League.
According to the expert, the second goal was scored precisely because of the opponent's quick attackers:
"We conceded the second goal thanks to very agile movements from the opposing players. They advanced at an unusual speed.
Guardiola also highlighted defender Abduqodir Husanov:
- Perhaps Husanov would have repeated that situation. Because he is a very fast and agile footballer. Unfortunately, he suffered a muscle injury and was unable to continue the match. I don't think he has any serious problems, everything will be alright," said the Spanish coach.
Guardiola's comments sparked heated discussions among City fans. Many say that Husanov's substitution significantly weakened the team's defense.
