England Defeats Albania but Opportunities Remain

England secures a victory over Albania in the World Cup qualifiers
England's national team defeated Albania 2-0 in an away match, securing their eighth consecutive victory in the qualifying campaign. The home side resisted the favorites for a significant amount of time, but Harry Kane's brace sealed the win.

At the start of the match, England dominated possession and territorial control. Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham commanded the midfield, while Jarrod Bowen was active on the right flank.

In the seventh minute, Rice attempted a low shot towards the corner, but goalkeeper Strakosha made the save. Later, Jarrod Bowen had a good opportunity, but Albania's goalkeeper once again came to the rescue.

Albania managed only a few counterattacks. The most dangerous moment came from Hysaj, who fired a long-range shot aimed at the far corner, but the ball went slightly over the bar.

The first half ended in a goalless draw. The second half began with the hosts showing determination.

Hoxha and Bajrami tested Jordan Henderson multiple times with long-range efforts, but the England goalkeeper remained confident. Key moments followed Thomas Tuchel's substitutions.

The introduction of Saka, Foden, and later Rashford increased pressure from the flanks. In the 75th minute, England capitalized on a set-piece.

Following a corner kick, Harry Kane outperformed Strakosha in a single action to open the scoring. Albania attempted to level the match, but this left defensive gaps.

In the 83rd minute, Rashford delivered a cross from the left wing to the far post, where Harry Kane headed in his second goal, completing his brace. England maintained their streak of "clean sheets" in the qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Albania remains in second place and continues to fight for a spot in the playoffs.
