Reports suggest that the relationship between Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and head coach Ruben Amorim is not ideal. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
The Portuguese coach has not been including the 20-year-old in the Red Devils’ starting lineup very often. Recently, Mainoo’s brother attended a match wearing a T-shirt reading “Free Kobbie Mainoo,” further escalating the situation. According to Sun Football, tensions between the player and Amorim had existed even before this.
Nevertheless, the source notes that Mainoo is not giving up: he remains determined to earn a place in United’s first team and build a successful career at the club where he came through the ranks. Therefore, he is not planning to leave the team permanently.
Earlier reports claimed Mainoo might want to move to another club on loan during the winter transfer window, with Napoli mentioned as the leading contender.
