The Uzbekistan national boxing team successfully participated in the final stage of the World Boxing Cup held in India. Our athletes competed in various weight categories, securing gold and silver medals.
In the 48 kg weight category, Farzona Fazilova lost to India's Minakshi with a score of 0:5. In the 70 kg weight category, Aziza Zokirova was defeated by Arundhati Choudhary with a score of 0:5.
In the 90 kg weight category, Nusratbek To‘xirov lost to British boxer Isaac Okoh with a score of 0:3. In the above 80 kg weight category, Oltinoy Sotimboyeva lost a fiercely contested match to India's Nupur with a split decision of 2:3.
In the 85 kg weight category, Jasurbek Yo‘ldoshev was defeated by Kazakhstan's Sultanbek Aybaruli with a score of 1:4. In the 50 kg weight category, Asilbek Jalilov defeated India's Jadumani Mandengbam with a score of 4:1.
In the 55 kg weight category, Samandar Olimov won against Pawand Bartwal with a score of 5:0. In the 75 kg weight category, Javohir Abdurahimov defeated Polish boxer Michal Jarliński with a score of 4:1.
In the above 90 kg weight category, Halimjon Mamasoliyev secured a confident victory over India's Narender with a score of 5:0.
