Arman Tsarukyan Defeats Den Hooker via Submission

On November 23, 2025, the UFC Fight Night tournament held in Qatar hosted a central lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan and New Zealand fighter Dan Hooker. The fight concluded in the second round with Tsarukyan securing victory via a submission hold.

From the very first moments of the match, Arman set a high pace, keeping his opponent under pressure near the fence. Combining strikes with grappling techniques, he left Hooker with little opportunity to counter.

Although Hooker attempted to respond with counters and knee strikes, Tsarukyan successfully closed the distance, brought the fight into a clinch, and maintained control during exchanges. In the second round, Tsarukyan increased his pace, delivering a sharp attack to Hooker's legs, taking him to the ground.

Gaining dominance on the ground, Arman quickly transitioned to a submission hold. Applying strong pressure and precise technique, Tsarukyan forced Hooker to tap out and secured the victory.
