In 2025, more than 438.3 thousand Uzbeks enabled a self-ban on taking out loans in their name. This was reported in the statistical data of the KIACh bureau. This is reported by kursiv.uz reports .

For comparison, as of December 1 last year, 284.7 thousand citizens used this service.

According to KIACh, as of January 1 the service was most popular among those aged 26–35 — more than 144.6 thousand people. In the 35–45 age group there were 106.6 thousand, while among those under 26, 94.7 thousand citizens set a self-ban.

The lowest activity was recorded in the group over 56 years old — 39.5 thousand people.

Recall that since last summer, Uzbeks have been able to enable a self-ban on loan issuance at public service centers, via the unified portal, or on the KIACh website. This service acts as a protective measure against fraudsters taking out loans without a person’s knowledge.

The ban can be lifted based on a written or electronic application.
