In 2026, city and district councils of people’s deputies will retain the right to independently review the established tax coefficients for water. The State Tax Committee’s press service reported this. This was reported by kursiv.uz reports .
At the same time, an exception has been introduced for strategic facilities: rates for power plants, public utility enterprises, and the largest taxpayers will remain unchanged and fixed.
For farmers, the base water rate has been set at 107 soums per 1 cubic meter. From 2027, an increasing coefficient is planned for farms that do not use laser land-leveling technology.
In 2026, industrial sectors will pay from 749 to 910 soums per 1 cubic meter of water. For beverage producers, the water charge is set at 40.6 thousand soums.
