World's Strongest Woman Disqualified

The world's strongest woman disqualified
American athlete Jamie Booker has been stripped of her 2025 "World's Strongest Woman" title, reports The New York Post. A few days after the competition concluded in Texas, the organizers of the Strongman Games announced her disqualification.

The reason cited for this decision was Booker's failure to verify her biological sex as compatible with the women's category. According to the Official Strongman Games rules, participants must compete in the gender category matching their biological sex at birth.

As a result, the title was awarded to British athlete Andrea Thompson, who initially secured second place. This controversy has reignited debates regarding the participation of transgender athletes in women's strength sports.

Booker did not comment on her disqualification. Competition organizers stated they attempted to reach out to her, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
