PSG defeated the "Metz" team 3-2 in an away match during the 16th round of Ligue 1. While the Parisians started the game confidently, they faced a challenging situation by the end.
In the 31st minute, Gonçalo Ramos scored with a precise header, opening the scoring. Shortly thereafter, in the 39th minute, Njantu struck from inside the penalty area, making it 2-0.
However, the "Metz" team responded immediately. A left-flank attack initiated by Chiatashvili led to a clean finish by Demenge, narrowing the score.
In the second half, the home team increased their offensive efforts, but PSG maintained control of the game. In the 65th minute, Ekitike capitalized on a counterattack, beating the goalkeeper one-on-one and increasing the score to 3-1.
The match seemed decided at this point. However, "Metz" continued to resist.
Following an awkward shot, goalkeeper Safonov saved his team, but in the 82nd minute, Chiatashvili scored a long-range shot, reducing the deficit to 3-2. Despite this, PSG managed to secure the game in their favor.
