Sebastian Szymanski moves from Fenerbahce to Rennes

Midfielder Sebastian Szymanski, who played for Dynamo Moscow, will continue his career at French side Rennes. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to Transfermarkt, the French club paid €9.5 million for the player, who previously featured for Turkey’s Fenerbahce.

In the 2025/2026 season, Szymanski made 26 appearances across all club competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.

The 26-year-old signed a contract with Rennes running until June 30, 2029. His market value is estimated at €12 million.

Szymanski is currently recovering from an injury: he has a groin strain. No exact return date has been announced yet.
