The hero of the match was Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov, who netted a brace with goals in the 5th and 87th minutes. Bertug Yildirim (22') and Davie Selke (81') also got on the scoresheet for the hosts. The visitors were left in a difficult position after Rodrigo Becao received a red card in the 44th minute.
