Real Madrid and Barcelona revenues exceed $1 billion

Although the English Premier League is considered the wealthiest football league in the world, Spain's two giants surpass all competitors in terms of scale. Real Madrid and Barcelona were recorded as the only football clubs whose revenue exceeded $1 billion in the 2024/25 season. The Madrid side managed to generate $1.3 billion, while the Catalans earned $1.1 billion.

In the broader scope of world sports, only the U.S. teams Dallas Cowboys ($1.25 billion) and Los Angeles Dodgers ($1.1 billion) have reached such high financial benchmarks. In the world of football, the Spanish giants maintain absolute leadership in terms of financial stability.

According to 2026 projections, Real Madrid leads the ranking of the world's most valuable football clubs with a valuation of $7.7 billion. Barcelona holds the second position at $6.65 billion, while England's Manchester United ($6.47 billion) rounds out the top three.

The top ten also includes Bayern Munich ($5.78 billion), Liverpool ($5.74 billion), Manchester City ($5.7 billion), Arsenal ($5.43 billion), PSG ($5 billion), Chelsea ($4 billion), and Tottenham ($3.5 billion). Despite English clubs occupying six positions on the list, the highest financial valuations remain in the hands of the Spanish representatives.
