Efforts to provide clean drinking water to the population in Samarkand region are entering a new stage. In Toyloq district, large-scale reconstruction work is underway to fundamentally improve the water supply system.
During his visit to the region, the Head of the Presidential Administration closely familiarized himself with how water networks are being modernized in the neighborhoods and how old infrastructure is being upgraded. The main goal is to provide all residents of the district with centralized and quality drinking water.
According to official data, 231,100 people live in Toyloq district. Of these, 197,500, or 85.5 percent, use centralized water networks. However, this issue remains pressing in some areas.

Specifically, residents of Bogichinor neighborhood are still forced to obtain drinking water through makeshift devices – pumps and wells. In some cases, water is transported from neighboring villages for consumption. It is no secret that this causes numerous inconveniences in daily life.
One of the main reasons for the problem is the obsolescence of the "Bogichinor" water facility. This facility was built in 2002 and has now reached the end of its technical service life. As a result, it can only supply water to residents for 4 hours a day.
A new project has been developed to solve this problem. According to it, the water facility will be fully reconstructed and re-equipped according to modern standards. Additionally, 8.5 kilometers of new water networks are being laid.

After the project is implemented, 3,300 residents will have access to centralized drinking water for the first time. This will not only ease living conditions but also positively impact the health and quality of life of the population.
In short, these reforms being carried out in Toyloq district are serving to gradually solve one of the most important issues in people's daily lives – the problem of clean water.
