Slutsky-led Shanghai Shenhua lose again in Asia

Shanghai Shenhua, coached by Leonid Slutsky, were left without points again in their latest AFC Champions League match. In Round 6 of the league phase, the Chinese club lost 0–1 away to Japan’s Hiroshima. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

The match was decided by a goal scored in the 78th minute: home defender Hayato Araki struck accurately to earn his team three points. This result marked Shanghai Shenhua’s third consecutive defeat in the tournament.

After six rounds, Slutsky’s side sit 11th in the table with 4 points. Hiroshima are third with 11 points.
