Three-time world chess champion Bibisara Asaubayeva has decided to learn the Kazakh language. The 22-year-old athlete announced this on her Telegram channel on April 23. According to her, the first trial lesson with a new teacher has already been scheduled. Zakon.kz reports on this.

Previously, the chess player had been criticized several times for not responding in the Kazakh language during interviews and official appearances. Following this, Asaubayeva expressed her intention to rectify the situation and promised to seriously engage in language learning.


For information, another well-known chess player from Kazakhstan, international grandmaster Jansaya Abdumalik, has also been active on social media, sharing photos of her young son.
