Khaykin: Beating Manchester City went down in Norwegian sports history

Nikita Khaykin, goalkeeper of Norway’s Bodo/Glimt, commented on the sensational victory over Manchester City. euro-football.ru reports reports .
The Matchday 7 fixture of the Champions League league phase ended 3–1 in favor of the Norwegians.
“Even after the match, to be honest, we didn’t immediately realize we had beaten one of the strongest systems in the 21st-century football industry. This game went down in history not only for us, but for all Norwegians and for Norwegian sport as a whole,” Khaykin said on the VideoSports program.
The goalkeeper also emphasized that he considers this result one of the most important wins of his career.
